Can u just plant an anual (oats peas) and graze it after a frost as stockpiled forage? Or does the quality go down? Other concerns? Last time we done oats for forage and they were 3-4' tall with the irrigation.... I want to graze some?

I want 120 days grazing, 60 days of which after frost
