You need to put a vent as near to the "john" as you can and should have one at the sink and then one at the kitchen sink. I used 2" schedule 40 for the vents then tied them all together and ran a 2" through the roof. I was worried about frost plugging the roof vent but so far I haven't had that problem. I also put a clean out just out side the house.
