Nevada, Iowa | It will likely stand up but will be goose necked. We had this happen just prior to tassel last year and it was goosed 30+ inches off of it's original center. It was a real bearcat to harvest but we could go both directions which helped a great deal. I had one field planted east / west that went down and it was just miserable. Ironically, we had some corn that missed the direct storm path and did not go down. It didn't yield any better than the stuff that went down and straightened. Hope this helps | |
