Thank goodness, USDA says " Rain makes Grain " Sorry.
We had corn like that last year at this very same time period. It took about 25 BU/AC off the yield. It grew back up in a few days but was sledrunnered bad, slower harvest speeds and sometimes just had to stop and back up to get back on the right rows.
