SW Minnesota | +1 on taking out the 2 bolts and removing the tailboard with the chopper spread fins on it. Problem solved.
Up until this year I combined oats with a 9400 and we just took off the tailboard to give us more room. We also bought the short belt to keep the chopper turning after running our first season without it. There were about 2 wheelbarrow loads of chaff packed in the chopper after the first season and you all know how much fun oats chaff is to mess around with........ | |
