Subject: 9500 JD. Do I have to remove chaff spreader...

To windrow wheat straw. Book says you do only on a 9400, but with the deflector straight down it hits the back of the spreader and likes about a foot being able to crank it all the way forward. Looks like the short belt won't reach either. Wondering why the book would say only the 9400 if it has to come off on a 9500 too. Actually now that I've looked at it more the top edge of the spreader is just catching on the panel that sits vertically under the end of the walkers
