With the chopper where it is I don't see how anything would go through it because the back edge is even with the back end of the walkers. Everything off of them will fall behind it. That being said not sure why the chopper would need to run. Leaving the deflector on would keep straw from getting on the chaff spreader so it looks like I could run that too.
