Slightly different scenario but I'm thinking similar thoughts. from the bottle to the back of the truck is where I want to head. I think that's your best return, every time they change hands some one needs payed. Most of the risk is when they are weaning. I thought I had a system figured out but quickly learned different this batch. I totally agree with your thoughts on the labor and plan to approach it the same. When your starting out sweat is much cheaper than iron for bedding.
