| My father and grandfather both have had the open repair surgery for a AAA. My grandfathers was found during a routine checkup when he was 82. He lived until he was 90 and died of natural causes. My dad was 77 when his was found by accident. That was 8 years ago and he is still going strong. By all means get checked out if it`s suspected. They have been doing the surdery since the 50`s. | |
