Subject: RE: Anuresum

My dad had one when he was 76 in an artery next to his spine. Surgeon an louisville told us if he operated he had a 50-50 chance of being paralyzed. He said he thought that he could keep him alive and live as long if he could get his blood pressure low. He was afraid the surgery would be to hard on him and they thought he had heart damage. He put him in a medically induced coma and finally got his blood pressure down to around 110/60. He told us he could go at any time if it ruptured. The Dr gave him a max of 5 yrs to live. He lived 8 more yrs. Told him when he got out of hosp. in may he wouldn't have the strength to work on the farm or operate farm mach. He combined wheat 6 weeks later, ran combine every fall until he got another one & it killed him. He was of tough stock, been gone 8 yrs and I am tearing up as I write this.
