From our perspective, running everything, through the Insights, including the yield monitors, and then bringing it into SMS eliminates all of the software compatibility issues I don't have the time or inclination to screw with.
The AL software is getting dramatically better all the time, and, I spend enough time asking dumb questions of the Ag Leader tech guys I've been pleased with their support.
Zynx would be a good choice but the yield monitors were a deal breaker for us.
Value is all relative. Would you get more value from a big investment in technology, or say, a grain cart. Every operator will look at this differently. None of this stuff is cheap, especially the high end stuff your looking at, but I think most would agree that all of this technology is where our future efficiencies lie. | |
