Start with clean strainers!

bleedred - 4/11/2014 23:45 Those tanks look like a slick setup! I will keep an eye on the pressures tomorrow. My tank pressure should be very close to my pressure gauge that is installed after my coolers but before my control valves... If not I have a tank supply issue I assume?

Yes.  The pressure gauge after the coolers should stay very close to the same whether running or setting still.

Either way by what info I could find online tonight 2% of tank capacity seems to be a pretty good rule of thumb for maximum tank withdraw rate in gpm? So 20-25 gpm for a single 1000 gal tank 30-35 gpm for a 1500 gal tank? I pull mostly 1500 gal tanks.

I've never heard or seen that one.  Withdraw rate would be more dependent on withdrawal valve size than tank capacity.  A new 1000 gallon tank with a 1 1/2" withdrawal valve would unload at the same speed as a 3000 with the same valve, just not for as long!

This is the only pic I have of it atm. I just want to figure out what I need to do to add 2 more knives and maintain a 7.5 mph speed at 200# actual. That would be my max rate.

Let's see what the pressures say.
