Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot
I think there are some large differences between this case, and the Wayne Hage case. Hage was clearly in the right. I'm not sure Mr. Bundy is, without knowing more information. The water ownership is key, but I've not read where he owns the water on said range.

Personally, I feel the way the BLM and FS leases are set up is going to change a lot in the future. I understand why they are the way they are. And I wholeheartedly, 100% support full grazing of public lands. Grazing leases should be part of the property of a ranch that has historically grazed an allotment. I feel it is legally their property. But their needs to be a way more people have the opportunity to graze on public lands as well. Allotments shouldn't be taken from existing ranches, but yet unused allotments or those in rotation should be auctioned or something, similar to the way the state of Oregon leases grazing land out on a 5 year lease you can bid on.

Grazing is one of the only ways we can cost effectively manage some of the public lands out west. Sooner the BLM and FS realize that, and use them instead of 'saving' them, the better the lands and the ranching industry will be.
