Why is it that some cement trucks shown up north have the hopper and chute reversed? Does that help to limit spilled cement on roads when hauling?
I know it makes unloading much easier as the chute controls appear to be located in the cab. The driver doesn't have to back up to the pour site. Wish that was standard here.
I've seen the truck pulling forward towards the forms and the chute unfolding or telescoping over the cab. Looks like having the hopper reversed makes things a little easier for the drivers
Anyone know more about it?
Thanks
