Evansville, WI | Well I understand its hard for you to be wrong with grace but... do some research and backup what you say with facts. All seed companies websites mention agrobacterium ... none clavibacter in regards to trait insertion. A woman won a world food prize for her discovery of this use of agrobacterium. I wont sit back and watch you spread lies that fit your agenda when the truth is so easily discovered with a simple google search. A much more simple explanation for the spread of goss is similar inbred family with low goss tolerance being and being planted larger percentage of acres due to national brands taking over regionals and locals. Specifically it seems monsanto lines might have lower goss wilt tolerance and as it was previously a localized issue they were willing to chance it for additional yield kick those inbred families offered. Much more simple and less conspiratorial. Occams razor.... | |
