Both Ed and I know a person who was involved with DeKalb at the start of introducing traits into corn. He told me and probably Ed also, that the transferance of the bT trait was with a clavibactor. Under the right conditions a mutation to Goss' wilt,Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. nebraskensis,is not a stretch
