I quit using starter in 1982. I use a pop-up under the seed about 5 gallons an acre. This year I broadcast,120 units N Preplant with a small amount of potash. I let the rain work it in. The pictures show where I ran out of Pop-up on the last acre of this field. Everything is the same on this field except the pop-up. Outside rows with pop-up next to last corn without Pop-up.
