| Had 9 foot high wind sculpted drifts. NWS didn't admit it was a blizzard because it wasn't cold, just lots of snow and wind. Their definition required it to also be very cold.The NWS definition of a blizzard changed that year to take out the requirement for it to be cold, high wind and lots of snow ever since has been the definition of a snow. I have a picture or two somewhere but it will take until the blizzards of next year to find them.
