Now, that's depressing . . .  . .
Nothing worse then snow piles around the outbuildings, when it's melted out and no frost in the ground - nothing but mud ~
I don't recall the yr, but sometime in the early seventies, we had oats in and recieved several inchs of snow on it. Was one of the best oats crops ever, on the farm.
I recall in early 90's, recieving a good 4 in snow on just seeded soybeans - it warmed up right after and melted off within 32hrs and turned out pretty good. . . . . .
