Okay, maybe for vehicles, but 7 ways (RV plugs), semis, and pickups all use different colors and terminal locations. I had the pleasure to install a flatbed recently and mis wired both of the RV plugs I installed.
This chart is accurate and is the best I've found.
WARNING: If you buy a Curt brand, ect. plug, it will have printed on it what color wires go where. IT IS WRONG. atleast for pickups it is wrong. It may be right for an RV, but I'm not sure.
