| Industry standards:
Left turn: yellow
Right turn: green
Trailer marker: brown
Ground: white
Trailer brake: blue
Aux/battery charge: red
The last one should be reverse lights not needed on 6 wire round
Your trailer wiring harness should have those colors, if not just use a test light to chase the truck wires.
I always use die electric grease when making terminal connectioms, and I always put it on the pins of the female connector. Once I started doing that I had less roblems.
