Subject: RE: Big Seed and Indetermiate soybeans

Southern IL
Location : Southern Illinois My advice I shared has took our yields to the next level. The steps I mentioned may not work every where. As for big seeded soybeans, it does make a bushel faster we have yeild maps to prove it. We plant a lot of different varieties and see what works well on our soils, brands such as krugger, Asgrow, merchantman seed, and many others. I did not mention we have seen advantages from are soil testing and fertilizer applications. We work directly with our soil testing guy to maintain and build farms up. The lack of rainfall has impacted our yields in some droughthy soils.
