df, I have been growing them 3 or 4 years at Live Oak, and they have not winter killed yet. Where are you located? How are you planning to plant? Strip till? If you are planting corn around Feb 25, I would just do your normal burndown around Feb 1. We don't usually get any corn planted before March 1. When they start to decompose you will feel like you have a load of wet manure on the field and the corn should grow like that too.
