Subject: Re: tillage radishes

Martinsville, Ohio
It's a new craze caused by accident. A few years ago my help loaded the wheat into the notill drill without cleaning the radishes out of the bottom so I ended up with 5 acres with a stand of radishes in it. It looked different from the get go so I took it to yield and it made 12 bu more per acre.

So, the next fall I did it again on purprose and the next fall. I got about 12 bu more wheat both times.

We have been talking about it on here ever since the mistake.
