Most of my fun seeds are turnips, but have a few radish thrown in too.

Believe it was down to 9 degrees a week or so before these pics, had been very dry but we caught a little light rains to green things up again. As you can see the cattle were ready to go in the background.

For fun wife & I were picking up turnips until the snow was flying, don't have those pics on this computer yet. The bottom 1/2 was frosty and solid, but we got a warm spell and the tops were regrowing greens out of them.... Turnip & radish appear about the same for freezing off to me.

They don't freeze off easy here in my oats stubble at the size mine are. Perhaps the smaller ones you have would not take the cold so much.

There are _none_ left in this field, cattle cleaned them up totally. Typically there is a lot of oats regrowth and alfalfa/clover plowdown also growing, but it was so dry, only thing that really was left after the oats came off was the turnips and few radish.
