| I purchased a Dozer about four years ago. During this time I have also worked with the tile guys we hire. It has been a real eye opener seeing how fragile our soils are. High hill/ridge ground range from 0 to 3 ft - ave 18". Hill slope range 0 to 6 foot (over wash) - ave 12". Bottoms are deep 4 ft+, but vary in how they compact and let water move. We are in southern Iowa - not on the big river bottoms.
