Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | You need the third spreader more than a chopper to no-till. I also have row cleaners on my planter.
My first AF did not have a chopper..............the one I have now does. Both have the "Disrupters"
I never put the knives up in the chopper (even when doing beans) but I have to switch a couple pulleys (to slow down for corn, new machines may be different) which I didn't have to do before....so it (chopper) is really a pain.
