Subject: Re: male or female dog

Saskatchewan, big whitetail country!!!
We have an aussie. We love him. He is a fixed male, and does not wander, is a great dawg. We had three females in a row which wandered aimlessly. In the history of this farm, all dogs were unfixed males of various breeds. Only had the females wander. Sounds weird but true. So with our last dog we went to a male again, but got him fixed up. Aussies are soooooo smart, and calm, and personable, and great with kids. Did I mention smart? Dang dog! I can honestly look at him a certain way, and he knows what I want. I have only had two dogs that could read my expressions accurately. This last one, the aussie, and a border collie who retrieved bullets fired from my muzzleloader for crying out loud...
