Southern blues if you got good fences you might consider a few goats. They will eat brush long before grass. They have an acute sense of smell for holes in fences. This isnt so bad if they are tame. They will devistate brush and I think small locusts they would strip bark off of. It is almost like - dont cut that tree down its good forage. My daughter in law has some and they are pets and follow you right back in when they get out and often will show go back in where they get out.
