It is my understanding that if you are not for hire now the feds are pulling dot numbers so it would be illegal for you to have one. Let us know how you come out. I am sure he is planning on you not fighting it.
Around here they pretty much look the other way on pulling NH3 . We pull doubles with a 1/2 ton pickup into the we hours of the morning. Never a problem.
