Lowcountry SC
I work on a plantation and we have a huge deer problem as well, in order for our dove fields and duck ponds to produce they are fenced off after planting until the end of season with 5 strands of electric fence. Obviously this isn't feasible for our farm land so our best friend is a rifle and a lot of bullets and I don't mean 10 or 20, we'll kill in excess of 200 deer this season. If you want to see any difference stay after the does and the cull bucks, it will take some time and patience but it works. 1 deer eats roughly 7 pounds a day so that comes out to about 1.5 tons a year, read something awhile back that said that equates to about 4 million corn kernels.
