This year I have an exact tally. $13,916. Some of that is going to be picked up by insurance but the "lost bushels" can never be accounted for.

I told my wife I could do a lot of poaching for that amount of money. And no, I do not poach. Response from DNR is they will cost share a 7' fence. Seriously? That's laughable (one more thing to maintain) Mind you they get fed all winter by the lake owners who love to see the wild life.

And let's not even start on about the geese.

Let's just say my cows get out and into your corn. Who is responsible for the damage? How is a deer any different than a cow on the loose? The DNR claims they own the deer and you can't take them without permission (license) but by golly if you want reparations....... Then they are John Q. Public's.
