Most people don't think that long ahead when they buy land, but it's still on the back of people's minds and will keep the prices on the rise forever.
The rich people get richer even faster, there is a limit to the amount of gold or stock you can buy, and few investments provide dividends every year like farming land does. These people just don't consider the cost of land the same way farmers do. Three times the 2007 price is OK with them, if the land matches their criteria and caught their fancy. | |
