I found this old thread, have a 9670 running a 2630 doing the same thing. If we turn overlap control off it will start to record, once recording we can turn the overlap control back on and it works until we raise the head and lower it again.
Just wondering if anybody has had this issue recently and what you did to solve the problem.
gs2 2600 not recording when overlap control on??
