| Ironically, this article appears today in Gizmodo. An email by a Google engineer telling how he was asked to find an alternative to Java - Oracle's IP - and he goes on to explain that they haven't found anything and that they should seek a license - which obviously never took place. In another email written by Android founder Andy Rubin, the email basically adopts a "let's infringe Java and see what happens" attitude.
Everyone needs to face the fact that Android is a half-baked rip-off of several other company's property and is being distributed at a price that is about equal to the actual value of the OS, IMO. Yes folks, that is sarcasm... :)
