and it is a Macbook Pro or other top-end Mac, I'm not going to waste my time fiddling with the battery. I'm going to pull out my Firewire cable, put the victim device into Target Disk Mode and I'll pull the entire contents of your disk off in one swipe so I can crack your data at my leisure.
