| Right - because they typically are.
Apple had no REASON to tighten things down because there was nothing out there. These days, the Mac platform is being targeted more - and now they have tightened it down. Regardless, there are still next to nobody using this platform that are running any sort of malware protection - myself included. That may need to change someday though.
If you lived in the middle of rural Montana, would you spend the time, energy, and expense to put steel bars on your windows, security cameras, 3 or 4 deadbolts on all your doors, etc? | |
