I have used Quicken for years and it worked fine for me but looking at what you want to get out of it maybe Quickbooks would be a better program for you. Give it a look at http://quickbooks.intuit.ca/accounting-software/quickbooks-software... I don't know for sure but have always understood you could import data from Quicken to Quickbooks.
