| If I remember right Outlook gives you multiple options to export data, I'd make a copy of each one and keep them on an external drive that is disconnected when you do the upgrade I think you can also find a file that has a .pst extension, that should have all of your Outlook data. Once you're up and running again you can just copy the .pst file into the new Outlook pst location or tell it to look at where ever your old one is saved at.
