Other posters have given good info and remember no security software catches everything at least not those with reasonable price tags.

MSE is fine for most personal uses though I recommend "ESET NODE32" for business customers. However if one is using social networking sites your going to get infected that's all there is to it so don't waste money on high security because P2P turns it off anyway. When you go to Facebook you're essentially telling the security software to close it's eyes.
