My wifes computor crashed a couple days ago, She took it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy,the initial thoughts were that the hard drive died but when they removed the hard drive and connected it to another computor it worked and they were able to back up all of her data, they did some testing then and thought it was a operating software problem and then found that it had been infected by some nasty viruses that had crashed the system, so far they have been able to get 6 of the 8 viruses wiped but are having trouble isolating the other two, I don't know what the viruses are but it sounds like something new.

She has McAffee Anti-Virus installed and updated but these viruses got past it, What AV should she be running that would have caught these nasty things?
