I created a local home page on blogspot at http://westunion.blogspot.com/. It is mostly links to sites that are locally oriented.

Whenever Mom goes online this is her home page.  From it she can link to almost any site she normally goes to.  After seeing it I have had a few others mention they are using it.

There are some sites that are more private for whatever reason that are not listed.  For instance I regularly go to one site with a private forum.  If you don't have the password you can't even read it.  And social networking sites.  I don't want to start trying to explain MySpace, FaceBook,  Twitter, etc.
