Xmarks works well as mentioned. Opera also allows you to save your bookmarks. I have a Mobileme account for email and things -- it keeps my contacts, email, bookmarks all synced and available on your own machines or anyone that you sit down at. Haven't used IE for years -- guess they need to catch up (wait that can't be possible it's Microsoft after all :-)......
