The problem is the board has what looks like a built in audio card and also a built in NIC and the drivers for them aren't included with the Windows install disks. I see that same thing quite often with Intel motherboards. Intel includes a CD that you put in after you have Windows running and it auto plays and asks you which drivers you want to install. Check them all and walk away for a while. When you get back, things will work as they should. Of course, I'm just guessing here and maybe you don't have an Intel board so it may entail using the driver disks that came for the NIC. Looking at what you said was in Device manager, you will need to repeat the install for the sound card or that's going to be the next thing that doesn't work. Expect a phone call saying the speakers don't work if you don't get that going.
