Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | I was afraid to get that ink near any of the ceramic or plastic / fiberglass sinks, thought the stainless steel kitchen sink was most likely to not pick up any stains. Seems to have worked, no trace of any ink that I can spot ;-)
On one of the printer repair sites, I saw "kits" being offered, that if I understood their purpose / use, it is like a plastic I V bag with attached hose and a fitting you install into the ink pad tank to drain off excess ink, eliminating the need to remove /wash/ dry/ reinstall the ink pads.
.
I thought it was time well spent, the printer /scanner /copier worked great until the moment Epson electronically disabled it and I had just paid $40 for two sets of mail order ink cartridges. My bull head would move heaven or hell before tossing them, new, in the garbage. A little extra incentive to repair. ;-)
