At the office, we have a very big expensive HP networked printer that counts pages. When the page count is reached, we can get it to continue for a few pages. Then it shuts down and we have to change the drum in the printer. It will literally not go any more pages until we change that very expensive drum. I am sure that some of the major printer companies are doing the same thing.
I wore out an Epson printer , chapter 2.
