NW Iowa | I am on a smaller dose statin. The doc recommended co-cu-10 to counter the aches and pains. The co-cu-10 seems to work. My wife’s sister takes red yeast rice instead of a statin drug and she claims it works for her but she warned not to take too much or it will cause aches and pains. I tried this stuff and it did not work for me. I mentioned red yeast rice to my doctor. He said it’s one molecule away from statin drugs. Edith I have to learn how to spell. It’s CoQ10.
