NW Indiana | Total supply to start the year on the march wasde was 1.661 billion more bushels than the previous year. The march 1 stocks indicate there is only 951 million more bushels on the same date. That means we used 710 million more bushels than the first 2 quarters of the previous year. Demand is projected 849 million higher yoy. That means the next two quarters can only use 139 million more bushels yoy or demand needs raised. First 2 quarters increase of 710, only can raise 139 last two quarters or demand needs raised which you are correct but seems unlikely that is all it will be if the first two where that heavy. It is either that or supply has been overstated.
I agree it will take awhile for the usda to figure this out, their math is horrible.
