I would say it is voodoo. Or a WAG. The USDA has been terrible as of late. Look at the Sept-Oct placements and on feed numbers that crashed the market 20$ a hundred on fats and 50$ a hundred on feeders. 200 days later we’re at 1.90+ fats
The last dec hog report had 2% less hogs that turned into 1.5% more, a 14 month bloodbath for hog producers
They’re still trying to recover from the 2019 grain numbers they put out
I dunno what else to tell ya
After the dust settles what do we have to look forward to
