The photo does not show any ballast. For an MT835, this is configuration is fine, but if it is really making the power of an MT865, you will need to add a full rack of front weights, some idler weights and likely also some undercarriage weights.


I completely agree. After having 855 and 865 tractors with no weight they wouldn't begin to get the power to the ground. Also with the tracks moved in like they are takes a lot of pulling power out of the picture. On the plus side if it has been maintained the tractor should be in great shape since it wasn't over stressed from getting power to the ground.
